"Error: Failed to find any routes on the machine" when creating a VSX cluster
Symptoms
  • Error message "Error: Failed to find any routes on the machine" is received when creating a VSX Cluster

  • The output of "show route" shows that there are routes on the VSX Gateway(s)

  • Output of "#ifconfig" shows that there are alias interfaces configured on the VSX Gateway(s), for example:

    [Expert@HOSTNAME:0]# ifconfig
    Mgmt Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1C:7F:8A:23:07
                inet addr:x.x.x.x Bcast:y.y.y.y Mask:255.255.255.224
