Symptoms
  • Events from R80.10 Security Gateways do not appear in R80.10 SmartEvent. (Events from non-R80.10 Security Gateways do appear.)
Cause

Log settings are set to "Log per Connection" and not to "Log per Session".


Solution

To resolve this issue, enable session logging as follows:

  1. Go to the relevant policy rule.
  2. In the Track Column, select "Log" and click the "more.." option.
  3. In the "Log Generation" section, select "Per Session". 
  4. Install the policy.
