Symptoms
Upgrade of the Primary Multi-Domain Server from R80.10 fails when its Global Domain is in Standby mode.
The upgrade log shows:
[DATE - TIME][PID]:Importing MDS configuration to destination.
[DATE - TIME][PID]:Failed on importing MDS settings to destination
The install_Major_R80.20_Mgmt_x_detailed.log file shows that the upgrade failed with error:
The High Availability state of the Global database of the exported Multi-Domain Server is in Standby mode. Aborting.
Cause
When there are mutiple Multi-Domain Management servers involved, the Global domain is set to standby mode for the upgrading Multi-Domain Management causing the upgrade progress to fail.
