"Log Server is not Configured" error in SmartConsole after upgrade Technical Level
Symptoms
  • SmartConsole error: "Log Server is not configured (IP: x.x.x.x), make sure you publish all changes" after upgrade.
Cause

The version of the SmartEvent / Log Server is lower than the Security Management server's version. SmartEvent / Log Servers running R77.x versions are incompatible with R80.x Security Management servers. This occurs after upgrading the Security Management server but not the standalone SmartEvent / Log server.
