Different behavior between 'log_delete_below_metrics: mbytes' and 'log_delete_below_metrics: percent'
Symptoms
  • When setting 'log_delete_below_metrics' to MBytes, 'log_delete_below_value' cannot be set to more than quarter of disk size.
When setting it with 'log_delete_below_metrics' to percent, 'log_delete_below_value' is unlimited.
    For example:
    When setting with MBytes:
    [Expert@SA-R8010:0]# tail -f $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg | grep log_delete_below
CHostLogPolicy: warning!! - log_delete_below_value was set to more than quarter of disk size. new value is set to quarter of disk: 24798 MB
            :log_delete_below_value (30000)
            :log_delete_below_metrics (mbytes)
            :log_delete_below_metrics (mbytes)
            :log_delete_below_value (24798)

    When setting with Percentage:
    [Expert@SA-R8010:0]# tail -f $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg | grep log_delete_below
            :log_delete_below_value (30)
            :log_delete_below_metrics (percent)
            :log_delete_below_metrics (percent)
            :log_delete_below_value (30)
