"CMM is down" error is received and Diagnostic Test fails on "Hardware" and "System Health" Technical Level

  • SSH / Ping to the CMM is working as expected.

  • Executing 'standby_cmm -a "clia board"',the following is received:
    Pigeon Point Shelf Manager Command Line Interpreter
    No boards in the system
    
  • No output on the console port of the SGM, SOL cannot connect to the SGM console.
  • asg_version verify -v returns a hardware mismatch for the SGM component:
    BIOS version: database and hardware do not match: database - 2.28, hardware - N/A
    BL version: database and hardware do not match: database - 1.00, hardware - N/A
    IPMC version: database and hardware do not match: database - 1.02, hardware - N/A
    FPGA version: database and hardware do not match: database - 2.34, hardware - N/A
    NVRAM version: database and hardware do not match: database - 6.00, hardware - N/A
    
Cause

Miscommunication between the CMM and the SGMs IPMI controller.
