Symptoms

When a virtual LAN (Loopback) adapter is enabled and a Firewall blade policy is configured to "Disconnect wireless connections when connected to LAN", the WLAN adapter is disabled although no LAN cable is connected to the physical Ethernet port of the machine.

Cause

Sometimes, a virtual adapter created by third-party software is recognized by the Firewall blade as a physical and connected Ethernet LAN port; because the policy is set to "disconnect wireless connections when connected to LAN," the WLAN adapter is disabled.
