Logs are missing in R80.xx log server after upgrade Technical Level
Symptoms
  • In SmartConsole's Log view the logs do not appear when it is connected to the Security Management Server.
  • When connecting via SmartConsole directly to the Log server, the logs are appearing.
  • The command '# netstat -nap | grep 257' shows that port 257 is established on the Log Server and Security Gateway.
  • The command 'ls -la $FWDIR/log/fw.log' shows the size of the file $FWDIR/log/fw.log on the Log Server is growing.
