If you have an initial client installed that has not received any policy, then you will not be able to follow the usual steps to collect a cpinfo.
However, you can still collect a cpinfo by running the cpinfo.exe manually.
To collect the logs manually:
- Open a command prompt as admin.
- cd to this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Endpoint Common\cpinfo
Note: For Windows 7, the correct file path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security Agent\Endpoint Common\cpinfo
- Run the cpinfo.exe
- A command prompt box will come up - press "c", "1", "3","Enter".
- Once it is finished, a Windows Explorer window will popup with a "cpinfo.username.date.cab".
- Send this file to Check Point Support.
Note: It may generate multiple cpinfo files. Send them all.
