Running Check Point R80.x security management software, Smart-1 405 and Smart-1 410 models provide superior operational efficiency and boosted performance comparing to their predecessors Smart-1 205 and Smart-1 210 models.

  • To install R80.10 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator on Smart-1 405 / 410 appliances, use Take 10 and above.
  • To install R77.30 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator on Smart-1 405 / 410 appliances, use Take 266 and above.
  • To install Smart-1 405 / 410 appliances from a USB flash device using the ISOmorphic Tool,
    use the ISOmorphic Tool Build 160 (published on 18 June 2017) and above.
  • For upgrade path refer to Upgrade/Download Wizard.

Smart-1 405 / 410 Known Limitations

The below table lists all of the Smart-1 405 / 410 Appliances specific known limitations.
Note: All Check Point R80.10 limitations and R77.30 limitations are also relevant.

ID Symptoms
- The size of the R80.10 / R77.30 Dual Image for Smart-1 405 / 410 appliances exceeds the capacity of a DVD disc.
Users should use the ISOmorphic Tool (build 160 and above) from sk65205.
02533913 Upgrade from R77.30 image to R80.10 on Smart-1 405/410 appliances
using the general R80.10 upgrade package from R7X is not supported.
Users must use the special R80.10 upgrade package.

Note:
An upgrade from R77.30 image using the general R80.10 upgrade package
is planned to be supported by October 2017.
