"Hardware Hash" feature does not work in E80.64 and E80.65 versions on computers with UEFI firmware Technical Level
Symptoms
  • "Hardware Hash" feature does not work in E80.64 and E80.65 versions on the following computers:

    1. Using UEFI firmware
    2. "Pre-boot Protection" in the Full Disk Encryption policy is configured with the following settings:
      • "Integrate with OS login" (a.k.a. "Pre-boot bypass") is enabled
      • "Hardware Hash" option is enabled
      Example:
  • Computers with the legacy BIOS firmware are not affected.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

A Support Engineer will make sure the improved client is compatible with your environment before providing it.
For faster resolution and verification, please collect CPInfo file from the Endpoint Security Client E80.65 involved in the case.
