Security Gateways do not attempt to connect to the Log Server
Symptoms
  • Once the Log server is down for a long period of time, the Security Gateways do not try to reconnect to it and logs are being saved locally.

  • Output of "cpstat fw -f log_connection" command shows the Log Server as 'Disconnected'

  • "log_add_e: waiting for connecting callback (log_connected) to be read" message in FWD debug.
