SMBv2 and SMBv3 not logging accessed shares when configured in CIFS Resource object Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Access to specific shares accessed through a CIFS resource are not being logged, when SMBv2 or SMBv3 are used.
  • Attempts to access unauthorized shares are not being logged when configured through a CIFS resource object, and SMBv2 or SMBv3 are used.
Cause

Currently only SMBv1 is supported for logging access to remote shares on CIFS resource.
