UEPM process is terminated after R80 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator uninstall Technical Level
Symptoms
  • After uninstall of R80 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator:

    • Cannot log in to SmartEndpoint

    • The cpwd_admin list | grep -E "APP|UEPM" command shows for the UEPM process that its PID is 0 and its state is "T" (i.e., terminated):

      APP        PID    STAT
      UEPM       0      T
      
Cause

After uninstall of the R80 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator, the UEPM process is not able  to start.

This issue occur if Endpoint Policy Management blade was enabled before installing the R80 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator.
