"Unhandled exception - Value does not fall within the expected range" error when saving user-defined regulation in Compliance blade of R77.30 SmartDashboard opened in Demo mode
Symptoms
  • "Unhandled exception" error (without a way to exit from it) when saving user-defined regulation in Compliance blade of R77.30 SmartDashboard opened in Demo mode:

    1. Open R77.30 SmartDashboard in Demo mode
    2. Go to "Compliance" tab
    3. In the left tree, expand "Advanced" - click on "Settings"
    4. Choose a user-defined regulation - click on "Edit" button
    5. Click on "Save" button
    6. The following error appears:
      Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
      If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

      Value does not fall within the expected range.

Cause

The object "TE_12.2_autoupdate_and_install_settings_obj" is missing from "grc_test_elements.sqlite" in the default database of Demo mode.
