Cannot update shared secret for an object since it is not shown in the view Technical Level
Symptoms
  • After creating “interoperable” device and adding it to a star community, cannot add a shared secret password to this device because it is not listed in the “Shared Secret” tab.
Cause

The shared secret has a certain query that runs on the database and then updates the GUI .

By default the query is configured to 100 specific network objects that can be used in the participant gateways , therefore on larger databases some of the results will be missing.
