Symptoms
  • SmartConsole installed on a computer without access to the Internet cannot open Help files.
Solution

This is by design. R80 Help is live on the Internet.

If you are not connected, from another computer, that has an Internet access:

  1. Download the Help package

  2. Extract the package into some directory

  3. Open the html_frameset.htm file 

  4.  Use the search tab to locate the window-specific content.


Alternatively, you can access the help directly from any device with Internet access by browsing to SmartConsole Online Help page.
