Capsule Workspace Push Notifications do not work on iOS 9.3 (or higher) Technical Level
  • Capsule Workspace users, running on top of Apple iOS 9.3 or higher, do not receive Push Notifications for new e-mails, calendar events or messages.

Due to iOS implementation changes, Push Notifications Token changes more frequently. The Mobile Access Gateway has trouble updating the new token so frequently, causing Push Notifications to stop working when the Push Notification Token changes.


A combined fix is required:

  • A hotfix for Mobile Access Gateway

    This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

    Check Point recommends to always upgrade to the most recent version (Mobile Access).

    For other supported versions, Check Point Support can supply a Hotfix.
    A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
    For faster resolution and verification, please collect CPInfo files from the Security Management Server and Security Gateways involved in the case.

  • Update of Check Point Capsule Workspace for iOS

    A fix is included in version 1000.1.10 (or higher), available in Apple's App Store.
