To connect to the command line interface of the 3100 / 3200 Appliances, a Mini USB can be used. To use the Mini USB console port, download and install the 3000 Appliances Mini USB console driver on the console client machine (desktop/laptop). The Driver Installation Guide in PDF format for each OS is added to the same archive.

On 3100 / 3200 appliances, when using Solid State Drive (SSD), the local logging feature in SmartConsole is not supported on the Security Gateway. In case of a disconnection between the Log Server and the Security Gateway, logs will automatically be saved locally on the Security Gateway.

In 3100 / 3200 appliances, Solid State Drive (SSD) provides a total of 240GB storage space. The equivalent HDD based product provides a total of 320GB storage space.

The size of the R80.10 / R77.30 Dual Image for these appliances exceeds the capacity of a DVD disc. Users should use the ISOmorphic Tool (build 160 and above) from sk65205.
