Standby Cluster member fails to fetch policy from Active member during "cpstart" Technical Level
Symptoms
  • "cpstart" command on the Standby cluster member fails to fetch the policy with an error message:
"Management rejected fetch for this module - sic name does not match"

  • Fetching the policy manually on the Standby cluster member from the Security Management server succeeds ('fw fetch <IP_Address_Of_MGMTt>' command).

  • Fetching the policy manually on the Active Cluster member from the Security Management server fails with ('fw fetch <IP_Address_Of_MGMTt>' command):
"Management rejected fetch for this module - sic name does not match
    Policy Fetch Failed
    "

Cause

During cpstart, the Standby cluster member tries to fetch the policy from the Active cluster member from the following path:

$FWDIR/state/<Name_of_Cluster_Object>/FW1/

After a successful policy installation from SmartDashboard, the content of this directory is removed.
