Symptoms

VPND process is still running on Security Gateway, although IPSec VPN blade was disabled.

Cause

As well as establishing Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN, the VPND process is also responsible for presenting the certificates used for Portals, other the the Platform Portal.

If any portals are enabled (other than the Platform Portal), then the VPND process will be started.

To see the list of available portals, run the "mpclient list" command.
To see the status of each portal, run the "mpclient status <Portal_Name>" command.
