Policy installation on Identity Awareness Gateway fails randomly
Symptoms
  • Policy installation on Identity Awareness Gateway fails randomly.

  • Output of kernel memory leak detection procedure (sk35496) shows:

fw_drv_fini: XXX bytes allocated by 'fwbuf.c:N' leaked at XXX allocation time XXX>
    ... ... ...
FW-1: fw_hmem_stat_report: total unfreed hmem allocations: XXX, bytes XXX
    Starting SMEM allocations report
    FW-1: Leak in: fwbuf.c:N: hmem_bytes XXX
    Ended SMEM allocations report

Cause

Memory leak might occur if limit of some Identity Awareness kernel tables is reached (e.g. pdp_super_sessions when the number of current sessions exceeds the limit size of this table).
