What's New in Check Point R77.20.10 for 600 / 1100 / 1200R Appliance 


Software Blades Enhancements:

  • Anti-Spam granular configuration for suspected spam - in the Anti-Spam Blade Control page, user can now configure separate actions to be taken upon "suspected spam" detection, as opposed to "spam detection"

  • Allow URL Filtering only mode without full application control (mode with improved performance)

  • New Remote Access SSL VPN Network Extender (SNX – Thin VPN client) for locally managed appliances, with an option to configure bookmarks for the SNX landing page per user group 

General Enhancements:

  • Purge security logs

  • SHA-256 support in local web certificate

  • Japanese localization support for the First Time Wizard, support and QoS pages in locally managed appliances.

  • Hardened the security aspect of administrator's password creation in clear-text from the CLI in batch mode. Refer to sk107558 (01724207)

  • Other stability fixes

  • Method for HTTP skipping is set to "Full"
  • File inspection limit is set to "1"
