Multicast IGMP v1 traffic fails when sending membership request with TTL > 1
  • "igmp_recv: bad TTL from X.X.X.X" error when an IGMP message with TTL > 1 is received.

  • After clients get an IP address from the DHCP server (the relay is done on the Gateway side), they cannot join the multicast group.

Currently, when IGMP packets are processed, the TTL is checked as 1, and the message is ignored if it is not.
