Symptoms
  • routed daemon might crash when running routing commands in Gaia Clish (e.g., checking the routing table).

  • /var/log/messages file shows that routed daemon crashed with core dump file (after enabling the generation of core dump files per sk92764):

    kernel: routed[<PID>]: segfault at ... rip ... rsp ... error 4
    kernel: do_coredump: corename = |/etc/coredump/compress.sh /var/log/dump/usermode/routed.<PID>.core
    kernel: do_coredump: argv_arr[1] = /var/log/dump/usermode/routed.<PID>.core

  • Core dump file contains the following stack:

    Core was generated by `/bin/routed -i default -f /etc/routed0.conf -h 1'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
