iOS ActiveSync application does not send / receive e-mails while downloading a file from an e-mail on Exchange server Technical Level
Symptoms
  • User is not able to send / receive e-mails using ActiveSync (iOS built-in mail application) while downloading a file from one of the e-mails on Exchange server (when connected directly, or through Mobile Access Gateway).

  • After the file from the e-mail had been downloaded, the ActiveSync sends / receives e-mails as expected.

  • On Android based smartphone, user is able to send / receive e-mails as expected while downloading a file from one of the e-mails on Exchange server (when connected directly, or through Mobile Access Gateway).

Solution

This is normal behavior of the iOS ActiveSync mail client.

It is not related to Check Point Mobile Access.
