Policy installation fails with "TCP connectivity failure ( port = 18191 )" error due to crash of CPD daemon Technical Level
  • Policy installation in SmartDashboard fails with:

    Reason: TCP connectivity failure ( port = 18191 )( IP = X.X.X.X )[ error no. 10 ]
    Policy installation canceled.
  • Output of 'cpwd_admin list' command on problematic Security Gateway during the issue shows that CPD daemon is Terminated.

  • Core dump files for CPD daemon are generated on problematic Security Gateway in /var/log/dump/usermode/ directory.


CPD process crashes.
