Issues with 'Network Activity' report generated for a period of a month when Time Resolution is set to either 'Automatic' or 'Week'
Symptoms
  • Issues with 'Network Activity' report generated for a period of a month when Time Resolution is set to either 'Automatic' or 'Week' (go to 'Definitions' tab - expand 'Predefined' - 'Firewall Blade - Activity' - click on 'Network Activity'):

    • The 'Network Activity by Date' section is arranged by weeks
    • The 'Network Activity by Date' section shows incorrect dates (e.g., report generated for period from Feb 10th to Mar 10th shows results for a week from Mar 17th to Mar 10th)
  • When Time Resolution is set to 'Day', the 'Network Activity' report generated for a period of a month shows correct arrangement and correct data in the 'Network Activity by Date' section.

Cause

Incorrect calculation of the first week of the year (assumed first week is the first whole week in this year, while the first week can be partial and overlap with previous year).
