Clish or Gaia Portal might become unresponsive
  • Clish or Gaia Portal might become unresponsive.

  • When connecting over SSH, the prompt for username/password is not displayed (system is busy).

  • Output of 'top' command during the issue shows that confd daemon consumes CPU at high level.

  • /var/log/messages file repeatedly show:

xpand[PID]: Could not open the arp file: /proc/net/arp
xpand[PID]: Failed to read arp device file

Memory leak in confd daemon as a result of running multiple times the command show arp dynamic all.

Clish and Gaia Portal depend on confd daemon, so when the daemon "chokes", it causes Clish and Gaia Portal to respond very slowly.
